Oligocheck in Nerja

A needle-free scan in seconds of 21 minerals, 15 heavy metals, 7 vitamins and oxidative stress from the palm of your hand.

01

What is Oligocheck?

Oligocheck is a non-invasive test that estimates, from the palm of your hand, your levels of minerals and trace elements, vitamins, heavy metals and oxidative stress. There are no needles and no blood is taken: a small reader rests on the skin and the result appears on screen straight away.

It works by spectrophotometry: the reader emits light and measures how the tissues of the hand absorb and reflect it. Each mineral and each metal has its own light "fingerprint", and the SO/check software turns it into a report. According to the manufacturer, the reading reflects what is inside the cells, where minerals do their work, and not just what is circulating in the blood at that moment.

The device carries the CE mark under the European Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC and, according to Oligocheck, is used by more than 12,000 professionals worldwide. At Sole Centro de Imagen we use it as a starting point to tailor your diet, your supplements and your skin, hair and body treatments.

Benefits

In just a few minutes, Oligocheck gives you a snapshot of your internal balance, so you can stop taking supplements blindly and know where to begin.

  • No needles, no pain and no blood sample

  • Instant results, in the same appointment, explained on screen

  • The full picture: minerals, vitamins, heavy metals and oxidative stress in a single report

  • Picks up deficiencies and also excesses, so you don't take supplements you don't need

  • Links your internal balance with your skin, hair and nails

  • Can be repeated to compare results and track your progress

  • Suitable for almost everyone: according to the manufacturer, also for sensitive people and children

  • A starting point for a diet, supplement and treatment plan tailored to you

03

What does Oligocheck measure?

The full Oligocheck report covers the following sections:

  • 21 minerals and trace elements: calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, silicon, sodium, potassium, copper, zinc, iron, manganese, chromium, vanadium, boron, cobalt, molybdenum, iodine, lithium, germanium, selenium, sulphur and fluorine

  • 15 heavy metals, including mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic and aluminium

  • 7 vitamins: A, B6, B9 (folic acid), B12, C, D and E

  • Oxidative stress: the balance between free radicals and your antioxidant defences

  • Skin, hair and nails: indicators of skin quality, tendency to hair loss and the condition of your nails

  • Ratios between minerals (calcium/magnesium, sodium/potassium, copper/zinc…), body fat level and absorption rate

How can it help you?

Many everyday complaints are linked to what we are lacking or have too much of inside. Oligocheck helps us guide your care in cases like these:

  • Tiredness and low energy

    Tiredness and low energy

Magnesium, iron, zinc and the B vitamins are involved in energy production. If you feel drained, get cramps or sleep badly, the report shows whether any mineral is low or out of balance so it can be adjusted with the right diet or supplements.

    01
  • Dull skin and ageing

    Dull skin and ageing

Oxidative stress speeds up the loss of collagen, wrinkles and pigmentation, while antioxidants (vitamins A, C and E, zinc and selenium) protect the skin. Knowing how you are doing on the inside helps facial treatments work better.

    02
  • Weak hair and brittle nails

    Weak hair and brittle nails

Hair and nails need iron, zinc, magnesium and vitamins to form keratin. When these are lacking, the body prioritises other functions and hair becomes weaker. Oligocheck is a good complement to our hair treatments.

    03
  • Heavy metals and lifestyle

    Heavy metals and lifestyle

We all carry small amounts of heavy metals, which reach us through water, food (some large fish, for example), tobacco or everyday products. The report shows whether any of them stands out, so you can review your habits and, if necessary, discuss it with your doctor.

    04
  • Before taking supplements and to track your progress

Before taking supplements and to track your progress

Taking supplements without knowing what you need can be pointless or lead to excesses. With Oligocheck you start from data and, by repeating it, you compare reports to see whether the changes are working.

How is it done?

It is quick and comfortable: all you need to do is rest your hand. Each reading takes a few seconds and the rest of the appointment is spent explaining your report.

  1. Your details — Oligocheck

    Your details

We ask about your age, weight, height, habits, diet, any supplements you take and how you are feeling, so the report can be interpreted in context.

  2. Reading on the hand — Oligocheck

    Reading on the hand

We rest the reader on four points on the palm of your hand. Each reading takes a few seconds, you feel nothing; your hands just need to be clean and free of cream.

  3. Report on screen — Oligocheck

    Report on screen

The SO/check software produces the report instantly. We go through it together on screen: minerals, heavy metals, vitamins, oxidative stress, skin and hair, with the ideal range for each value.

  4. Recommendations and follow-up — Oligocheck

    Recommendations and follow-up

We explain what stands out and give you guidance on diet, habits and, where appropriate, supplements or treatments. We keep the report so we can compare it when you repeat the test.

06

How often to repeat it

Mineral levels change slowly, so there is no point repeating it every few weeks. As a guide:

  • First scan: to find out your starting point

  • Check-up: 3-6 months after changing your diet or supplements, to see whether the changes have worked

  • Follow-up: once or twice a year, or before starting a skin, hair or body plan

  • Each report is saved and compared with the previous one

07

What Oligocheck is and what it is not

Oligocheck is a very useful wellbeing tool for guiding your care, but it is worth knowing its limits:

  • It is an indicative assessment of nutritional status, not a medical diagnosis

  • It does not replace a blood test or a consultation with your doctor

  • If the report shows any value that is very far out of range, or you have symptoms, we recommend discussing it with your doctor

  • Don't take supplements or do a "detox" on your own based on the report: ask us to explain it to you

08

Who is it for?

Oligocheck is for women and men who want to understand their internal balance and look after themselves more precisely. It is especially useful if:

  • You feel tired, low on energy, get cramps or sleep badly

  • Your skin looks dull, your hair is weak or falling out, or your nails are brittle

  • You take supplements and want to know whether you need them or whether they are the right ones

  • You do a lot of sport or follow a restrictive diet (vegetarian, vegan, for weight loss)

  • You are going through the menopause or another time of change

  • You want to start a skin, hair or body treatment and get the most out of it

Find out what your body needs

Book your Oligocheck scan: in a short, needle-free appointment you will find out how your minerals, vitamins and heavy metals are doing and where to start looking after yourself.

Your questions answered

Frequently asked questions

Your questions about this treatment, your session and body care.

Does the Oligocheck test hurt or is it invasive?

+

No. A reader is simply rested on the palm of your hand. There are no needles, no blood is taken and you feel nothing.

How does it work?

+

By spectrophotometry: the reader shines light on the skin and measures how the tissues absorb it. Each mineral and metal has its own light fingerprint, and the software turns it into a report.

What exactly does it measure?

+

21 minerals and trace elements (magnesium, zinc, iron, calcium, selenium…), 15 heavy metals (mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic, aluminium…), 7 vitamins (A, B6, B9, B12, C, D and E), oxidative stress and indicators for skin, hair and nails.

How long does it take to get the results?

+

Each reading takes a few seconds and the report appears on screen straight away. We explain it to you in the same appointment.

Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?

+

There is no need to fast or prepare in any special way. Come with clean hands and no hand cream and, if you take supplements or medication, bring us the list so we can interpret the report better.

Does it replace a blood test?

+

No. It is an indicative wellbeing assessment, not a medical diagnosis. A blood test measures what is circulating in the blood at that moment; Oligocheck estimates the state of the tissues. The two are complementary.

Can it help if I feel tired or low on energy?

+

Yes, as a guide. It shows whether any minerals or vitamins that affect energy, such as magnesium or iron, are low or out of balance. If the tiredness is severe or long-lasting, see your doctor as well.

Is it useful for skin and hair loss?

+

Yes. The report includes indicators for skin, hair and nails and shows whether you are lacking nutrients such as zinc, iron or antioxidant vitamins. We use it to complement our facial and hair treatments.

Does it detect heavy metals?

+

It estimates 15 heavy metals, including mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic and aluminium. If any of them stands out, we review your habits and, if it is very high, we recommend discussing it with your doctor.

Will you prescribe supplements?

+

We give you guidance on diet and habits and, where appropriate, advice on supplements. It is never a medical prescription: if you take medication or have an illness, check with your doctor.

How often is it recommended to repeat it?

+

3-6 months after changing your diet or supplements, to check whether the changes have worked, and then once or twice a year.

Can children or pregnant women have it?

+

According to the manufacturer it is a non-invasive test suitable even for children. During pregnancy, any change in supplements should be prescribed by your gynaecologist or midwife.

Is it reliable?

+

The device carries the CE mark under European Directive 93/42/EEC and, according to the brand, is used by more than 12,000 professionals. Even so, its values are indicative: we interpret them together with your symptoms and habits.

Can it be combined with other treatments?

+

Yes. It is the ideal starting point before a facial, hair or body plan, and it pairs well with the Photon Capsule or pressotherapy to support your overall wellbeing.

Looking for a medical approach?

For a double chin, localised fat or laxity, body technology can be combined with medical treatments after an assessment.
