Venus Viva Body in Nerja
Venus Viva Body improves the appearance of stretch marks, scars and skin texture on the body with nano-fractional radiofrequency, without surgery and with a short recovery.
Venus Viva Body
It is the same Venus Viva device as our facial treatments, applied to the body. Its nano-fractional radiofrequency tip has tiny pins that deliver heat through the skin and create micro-injuries that the body repairs naturally: the skin renews itself, produces new collagen and elastin, and marks are softened.
We use it mainly on stretch marks on the abdomen, thighs, legs, buttocks or bust, on scars (including those from surgery or a caesarean, once healed) and on areas with uneven texture. For sagging skin on the body we recommend body radiofrequency, which we combine with Venus Viva when needed.

How is the treatment carried out?
We glide the nano-fractional radiofrequency tip over the area; each pass delivers a small burst of heat through the skin.
Initial assessment
We assess the stretch marks, scars or texture of the area and your health history to rule out contraindications.
Procedure
We cleanse the skin and, if you are sensitive, apply anaesthetic cream. The treatment takes 15 to 30 minutes depending on the area.
Recovery
The skin stays red and warm for around 24 hours: during that time put nothing on the area, not even water, and avoid sweating.
Results
Stretch marks and scars soften and texture improves gradually, over 3 or 4 sessions, one every 4 weeks.

Does the treatment hurt?

It can be a little uncomfortable but not painful: you feel tiny pins and heat, like sunburn. If you are sensitive, we apply anaesthetic cream.
How many sessions are needed?

The usual course is 3 or 4 sessions per area, 4 weeks apart; in the cases published by Venus Concept, stretch marks on the abdomen improve with 4 sessions.
When will I notice results?

The skin starts to improve from the first sessions and keeps improving for weeks after the last one, because new collagen takes time to form.
Which areas can be treated?

Abdomen, thighs, legs, buttocks, arms, bust, neck and décolletage, mainly for stretch marks, scars and texture.
Is it safe for all skin types?

Yes, Venus Viva Body is suitable for all skin phototypes.
Can it be combined with other treatments?

Yes, its effects can be enhanced with radiofrequency, HIFEM, LPG, pressotherapy or the Photon capsule.
Are there any side effects?

The skin stays red and warm for around 24 hours (up to 5 days for the most intensive treatments). During that time put nothing on the skin, not even water, and avoid sweating; afterwards, sunscreen every day.
Are there any contraindications?

According to Venus Concept, it is not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with a pacemaker or other electrical implant, cancer, immune system problems, poorly controlled diabetes, anticoagulants, tattoos in the area, very tanned skin or within 6 months of surgery. We always check at your assessment.
Does it help with sagging skin on the body?

Venus Viva works mainly on the skin: stretch marks, scars and texture. For sagging skin on the body we recommend body radiofrequency (Indiba or Viora) or LPG, and we combine them with Venus Viva when it helps.
What aftercare is needed?

For 24 hours put nothing on the area, not even water, and avoid sweating. For 2 days, no intense exercise, hot baths or massage on the area. Protect the skin from the sun and avoid tanning.
