Before any pigment, we design the brow on your face using face-mapping measurements: start, arch and tail according to your features, your expression and how you wear make-up. We don't start until you love the design.

Techniques
Depending on your skin and the look you want, we work with three techniques:
Hair strokes: fine strokes that mimic real hairs. The most natural effect; ideal for normal or dry skin.
Powder brows: a soft gradient like powder make-up. Longer lasting and great for oily skin.
Combined: hair strokes at the front and shading through the body and tail for density without losing a natural look.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Isotretinoin (Roaccutane) treatment in the last 6 months
Tendency to keloid scarring
Uncontrolled diabetes or clotting disorders
Active infection, wounds or dermatitis in the area
Ongoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy
How is it done?
A two-appointment process: the main session and a touch-up.
Assessment and design
We design the shape with measurements and pencil, choose the shade and you approve it before we start.
Session
90 to 120 minutes with topical anaesthetic. It is a comfortable session; most clients describe a light tingling.
Healing
In the first days the colour looks stronger and the skin flakes slightly. Avoid sun, swimming pools and make-up on the area for about 10 days.
Touch-up and result
After 4–6 weeks we do the touch-up to set the colour and refine details. The result lasts 1 to 3 years with maintenance.

What is the difference between microblading and eyebrow micropigmentation?

Microblading is done by hand with a micro-needle blade and places pigment more superficially; micropigmentation uses a device, is more versatile (hair strokes, powder) and usually lasts longer, especially on oily skin.
How long does eyebrow micropigmentation last?

1 to 3 years depending on your skin, the technique and aftercare. Sun and exfoliating products fade it sooner. We recommend maintenance every 12–18 months.
Does it hurt?

We apply topical anaesthetic, so it is very bearable. Most people describe a light scratching or tingling.
Can I choose the shape and colour?

Yes. The design is drawn and adjusted with you before we start, and the pigment is chosen to suit your skin and hair tone.
What should I avoid afterwards?

For about 10 days: don't soak the area, avoid sun, pools and saunas, don't apply make-up to the brows or pick the scabs.
I have an old micropigmentation I don't like. Can it be corrected?

It depends on the colour and intensity. Sometimes it can be covered; other times it is better to lighten it first with laser. We assess it in consultation.
