Lip micropigmentation in
Nerja
Over the years lips lose colour and the outline blurs. Lip micropigmentation restores definition and a healthy tone, corrects small asymmetries and gives the impression of more volume without fillers.
Lip micropigmentation at Sole
We aim for a result that looks like your lips at their best, not permanent lipstick. That is why we use shades that respect your natural colour and design the outline following your own shape.

Benefits
If you have a history of cold sores, we will ask you to check with your doctor about preventive antiviral medication before the session.
Defined, symmetrical outline
Even, natural colour
Fuller look without fillers
Disguises pale lips or small scars
No more daily lip liner
Subtle, elegant result
Techniques
We choose the technique according to the look you want:
Contour: defines and corrects the outline with a soft gradient towards the centre.
Watercolour effect: a sheer, diffused colour like a tinted balm. The most natural option.
Full lip: even colour across the whole lip for a more made-up, longer-lasting finish.
Is it right for you?
It is a good option if:
Your lips have lost colour or look dull
The outline has blurred with age
You have small asymmetries or scars on the lip
You want more definition without adding volume with hyaluronic acid
When it is not recommended
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Isotretinoin (Roaccutane) treatment in the last 6 months
Tendency to keloid scarring
Uncontrolled diabetes or clotting disorders
Active infection, wounds or dermatitis in the area
Ongoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy
How is it done?
Two appointments: main session and touch-up.

Assessment and design
We study your lips, draw the outline and choose the shade with you.

Session
2 to 2.5 hours with topical anaesthetic. It is the most sensitive area, so we go at your pace.

Healing
Mild swelling for 24–48 h and flaking in the first days; the colour looks strong and then softens. Keep lips moisturised with the balm we recommend.

Touch-up and result
Touch-up after 4–6 weeks. The result lasts 2 to 3 years with maintenance.
Your lips, in their best colour
We advise you in a free assessment on the technique and shade that suit you best.
Frequently asked questions
Your questions about Lip micropigmentation, your session and aftercare.
How long does lip micropigmentation last?
+
2 to 3 years on average. Smoking, sun exposure and hydration affect how long the colour lasts.
Do the lips swell a lot?
+
Mild swelling for 24–48 hours is normal. You can go about your day from day one.
Is the colour very strong?
+
In the first days yes, and it softens by 30–50% as it heals. We choose the shade with the final result in mind.
Does it increase lip volume?
+
It does not add real volume, but defining the outline and evening the colour makes lips look fuller. For volume it can be combined with hyaluronic acid.
What if I get cold sores?
+
A session can trigger one. Ask your doctor about preventive antiviral medication and don't have the treatment during an outbreak.
Can I wear lipstick afterwards?
+
Once healing is complete, from about 10 days. Before that, only the recommended balm.
